Our next meeting will be on Thursday, September 4th in Facilities Mangement Room 119.

Our tentative agenda includes,

• Peter Franz to discuss future projects
• A visit from John Fessler, capital projects manager delivering an overview of captial project ideas
• Tom Stutts to discuss energy efficiency projects
• A discussion on our future web URL
• Write member roster information
• Bylaws additions/changes will be reviews
• Monetary disbursement procedures will be covered

The key component of the Charlotte Green Initiative will be the ideas for environmentally sustainable projects submitted by students.

Until we have a form online to provide a standard method of submission for each idea, please email ideas to me, the current committee chair, at jritch77@gmail.com

August 8th, 2008 Charlotte Green Initiative Meeting

We are working on all the information we’ll need to have a successful year in studying how to make UNC Charlotte’s student body a leader in environmental stewardship. As we allocate the funding provided by the “Green Fee” we’ll be posting our meeting minutes and updates on this page.
