Biography: "Although I was born in Serbia, I lived most of my childhood in New Orleans. I've been living in Winston-Salem since a little after Hurricane Katrina. I've always had a passion for engineering and large construction products since I became fascinated as a kid by the levees in New Orleans."

Why join CGI? "Sustainability is a major passion of mine
and by being on the CGI committee I am able to get involved with the many student-led projects happening on campus. It gives me the ability to learn more about the many ways sustainable practices can be supported and how to make a dollar do the most work it can."

Why join CGI? "Sustainability is important to me because our actions directly impact  the world that we live on.Having sustainable practices ensures that we and future generations lead happy & healthy lives while continuing to have beautiful planet to call home. Biography: "The reason I wanted to join CGI was to use my free time making a difference and work towards something I am really passionate about. We are all living on this earth and I believe that we should do whatever we can to preserve this planet. I am especially interested in wildlife biology, conservation ecology, and zoology and wish to pursue a graduate degree in one of those fields."

Biography: "I am currently a junior at UNCC in the business
school. After graduation, I will continue school in order
to get my Master’s degree in Environmental Marketing,
or Business Sustainability."

Why join CGI? "I joined CGI to learn more about sustainability,
and to give back to our school and community. I think
it is important to be a part of something you’re passionate

Why join CGI? "I became a committee member for CGI because I have a passion for the earth sciences, specifically meteorology and climate. I care about environmental issues because I understand the impacts that humans can have on our planet and I want to do what I can to help."

Biography: "Hi my name is Muhannad! I am an electrical
engineering student here at UNC-Charlotte. I am planning
to graduate by Spring 2016. When I graduate, I want to
work as an electrical engineer in the field of renewable
energy."

Why join CGI? "I decided to become a CGI member because
I have a great interest in sustainability, especially renewable
energy. I also would love to contribute towards a greener

Biography: "I have always had a love for animals
and the environment. We only have one earth so we have
to take care of it! I also love running and photography."

Why join CGI? "I joined CGI to really make a difference.
We have the ability to fund projects that will help make
this campus more sustainable and create awareness
